The Road to El Dorado came out in theatres twelve years ago. Feel old.
- Alexandra: OH MY GOSH. I just realized. As much as I could believe that Miguel and Tulio are Flynn Rider's gay dads, I don't want to because he was an ORPHAN. If they're his gay dads... THEY'RE DEAD!
- Ella (Me): No they aren't. They are in El Dorado. They are just listed as dead because no one has seen them since. They didn't mean to abandon poor, little Eugene . They went to El Dorado because they wanted to give him the best they could. They failed, but hey, they tried. #headcanon
- Alexandra: That just... I don't accept that.
- Ella (me): Well, I do. I guess we will have to agree to disagree. Mostly because I don't want them to be dead.
- Alexandra: Well, I don't want them to be dead either, but if they aren't dead, they're bad parents, and I can't deal with that.
- Ella(Me): But if they went back to Spain to look for their kid they'd be killed.
- Alexandra: They are SUPERCRIMINALS WITH HEARTS OF GOLD. They could figure something out.
- Ella (Me): I like to believe that they are waiting it out in El Dorado until heat dies down, then they sail back to find little Eugene only to find that he escaped the care of their close friend (lets say her name was Isabella) whom they asked to care for him and he was put into an orphanage. When he got old enough, he ran away from there, changed his name, and because he is their son, he starts a life of crime because he loves gold just as much as they do. Because his name was different, and the wanted posters could never get his nose correct, it took them up until right after Flynn and Rapunzel's wedding for them to finally track him down. They contacted Rapunzel and asked her to help sneak them into the castle and surprise Flynn. BEST WEDDING PRESENT EVER! That and the wonderful gold they brought back as well.
- Alexandra: Whoa, bro.
- Ella(Me): Do not destroy my wonderful, very drawn out head canon. Okay. A girl can dream.

Seeing as I’ve posted quite a bit of The Road to El Dorado stuff lately, I thought I’d show you the shirt my friend Rhiannon made me as a birthday present. The front of her shirt says “Tulio and Miguel!”, and the backs of both say “Mighty and powerful GODS”. Because we’re cool like that.
